So I went against my Life Drawing teacher's wishes and mucked around with odd colour combos. I didn't know I wasn't supposed to 'til he saw a coupla them that I already made...bwahaha ! Oh I'm such a frig! I know dark blue shades and white are good for baby blue paper, but what's the fun in that? I've always been an experimental type anyhows~So here's a buncha coloured puke splashes to look at!

WOW it has been too many months since I last posted LOL

I have been up to my neck busy with school and just life in general...I keep forgetting to update this stupid thing! Here's something cute! She's from a show I used to watch when I was like 6-7 years old called Zoobilee Zoo. This is "Wazzat Kangaroo" She's muah fave. Cuteness! Weird show though lol

I'll hopefully post some color-theory "newpastel" life drawings soon! And maybe the cleaned & colored version of fartgirl, Y/N? lolz

Life Drawing with Newpastel

In muh animation program, we're doing a different approach to mediums...Newpastel on large slabs of newsprint. Here's some crap I've done in class and yeah. Enjoy? lol The last one is just an experiment with blending with that super messy newpastel...I started with the lips and it just sorta turned into that....lolz

Yeah I haven't been on here in a while...I don't really have any excuses. I think I'm just ashamed of my drawing incapabilites so I shy away from here most of the time. I think I'll just use it fer school crap I've been doing for now on and stupid sketches. Right now in third year, I'm working on an independent film! It's really a lot of work but I kinda like drawing the characters. I'm the only one who teamed up with a partner for this (Adrian) There's 21 scenes of our film so we got 10/11 each to animoot...sounds good, no? I have not scanned the cat yet, but there's a cat in the story.

I am still working on my first animated scene and I'm really discouranged :( I don't think I'm worthy of being an animator, but maybe that's cuz I'm too hard on myself. Blah. Anyways, here's the turnarounds for our characters (excluding the cat):

Adrian mostly designed Paquito, and I mostly designed Elijah, but we both mixed our ideas into both, which is kind of cool! I did the Elijah turnaround and Adrian did Paquito's. I colored them..yey!

Yes another post lol. I have another picture to show YAY!

It's of my two MOST FAVORITE singers ever. Bjork and Chara (Miwa Sato)! Two ladysingers who are insanely alike yet so very different at the same time. I would die if I'de be able to see these two work together and make some kind of crazy musik! AHHH!! I decided to draw them as mermaids 'cause they both have these very distinctive looks that go with their distinct voices. And to me, mermaids are strange looking beings who always sing. And just like merpeople, I've always been fascinated with these two very interesting ladies! So there you have it! Woot!

Yeah you all were prolly wondering what the hell happened to this poor rundown place? Having to stare repeatedly at Flat Eric up in the corner as he gives himself brain-damage by rattling that peanut in his skull because yours truly has NOT been updating her blog... and therefore you are forced to keep seeing the same-old crap that's always been here, therefore wandering and stuff. WELL NOT NOW! Mwahahhaa! 'Cause look look! I have a picture of something! It's not much but it's something! YAY!

Oh look here's more crap to feast your eyes on! I'll have to update my link list as well. Fooeybops!

But anyhoots, things are going alright. I rip my hair out and have insane emotional psychopathic attacks when it comes to to the layout stuff in school, but other than that it's not so bad! Weeee. On a good note my awesome friend Steffi is here to visit for three months from Germany! How cool is that? She blew away my classmates AND my teachers with her gooooorgeous artwork. Go Steffi Go! And if you haven't already figured it out, Steffi is in both drawings with me, 'cause damnit aren't we fun to draw? Yeah you know it!

Steffi came to visit here in the summer time with John K (who prolly wants nothing to do with me now, lol) and I met Steffi the first time. We clicked just like that! Awesome! Here's some pictures from the summer and recent to feast your eyeballs on!

Kira the Gelfling

Hey everyone! I ain't dead! The other day I felt like just doing a drawing - after being so hyped about "The Power of the Dark Crystal" movie coming out!! I decided to put my copic markers to good use and just try an draw a gelfling with no pencil - because I like to challenge myself (or torture?) when it comes to drawing. Just to see what happens!!! So I drew this peice straight with copic marker, trying to add form/structure as I went along - but I don't like how some parts turned out (like that messed up left hand - yecchhh) - but that's OK I'm still learning right? After all the marker colors, I did some highlights and more blending with colored pencil, and wala! My favorite Gelfling, Kira!

I can't wait to have a whole crapload of practise art made from the Preston Blair book done, but I hope this holds you all over for now LOL I guess I have decent control in my arms today! Wwwwooooppieeee! I'm going to the flea market tomorrow with John K and friends. I hope I find some old stuff!!!

Even more Caricatures..blahaha

Hey peeeps..I decided to try something different with caricatures, something slightly more challenging..that being..THE OLSEN TWINS. They have such a weird look to them..their wrinkly under eyelids (along with the round beadiness) and their long pucker mouths make me think of them as ape-faced (haha) I felt like coloring on the conputer again - which I had not done in a while, so I give you the Olsen twins in color, and a cute little sketch of Ayumi Hamasaki. I find it funny how a caricaturist will give the subject a certain amount of flattery or unflattery depending on how the artist feels about their subject...and blah blah blah LOL

Hey Hey everyone..yeah I'm finally back with more caricatures. I tried the TomKat challenge that John K wanted peoples to try..so I did that and just randomly drew other celebs from this magazine I had Hehe.. It's amazing how I will draw so intensely until my wimpy little pinky finger starts getting cramps like a motherfocka! I've learned that slowing down and being patient and observant really helps when doing caricatures..it's really something that takes a while to get a hang of! So here we are:

I was practising my caricature skills froma celebrity "In Touch" magazine my sister got..I am really getting agry at my pencils tonight..I tried so many different kinds..maybe it's 'cause I'm impatient tonight or the paper is garbage, but anyhoo..here's the ones that turned out O.K. I suppose..I don't ever expect this to be easy anyways..but it's fun to distort the annoying celebs that are pushed in our faces on all the media garbage. Wow..lookit everyone! *waaaves* OK nobody can see me..FINE THEN!!I have something of a clue as to why I made this thing..*thinks* No wait..hold on..It's comin' to me....wait...*belch*....hold on..wait...AHA! To post my art garbage!!! (and possibly other people's awesome stuff tooo!)Yeaaah..see I wouldn't feel right posting my art ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I'm such a spaz..maybe it's cuz I'm on a Swiss Schoko high and it's midnight. I decided to leave my bedroom alone for the rest of the night, which is why I'm all lazy on here and everything. See I'm making my room all vintage citrus and cute..with my dolls all lined on the shelves and actual places to store all my random garbage. Jesus I CANNOT believe how much stuff is in that little room...it's insannnne!!! How I managed to cram all that sheeeyet in there is beyond amazing!!!
